Outdoor dining in Paris

Two friends and I booked a week in Paris back in January, betting that covid rates would be at a lower ebb by April. Obviously we haven't hit it quite right, but we're fine with being masked and spending more time outdoors. I've done a lot less heavy scheduling of this trip than previous ones I've taken--just walking around will feel exciting to me.

The main thing I'm concerned about is dining. I think I've read that "bonus" outdoor dining spaces were taken down last fall. Will we have trouble finding tables to eat outdoors, assuming the weather is not bad? Again, this trip is taken in the spirit of compromise, so we don't have to eat in the coolest places or at the busiest time. We're staying in the 17ème, in a hotel partly chosen for its cancelability.

The outdoor terraces were allowed to open again April 1. They are not as extensive as they were last year, but then again they don't need to be.

Thank you! And apologies, I forgot to come back and post my own data point here. For a week in April, we had no problem finding lots of places to eat outside. I was correct that we didn't always have our pick of the most popular spots, but we enjoyed our meals. The places we ate at seemed like ordinary sidewalk dining (not temporary parking-spot "streeteries" like we have where I live). The weather was unexpectedly ideal so that helped.
