I need to change date of travel prior to receiving ticket. Reservation made and payment shows on credit card. I sign into Ouigo account and can change date but do not get a confirmation that change has occurred. When I progress to the next page with name verification and other information; i.e., phone number, etc. the page goes blank.
Voucher/Ticket will be sent by email 2 days before travel which is in September. I'm tempted to forget changing and rebook with new date and either cancel when receive voucher or do nothing having 2 reservation with one unused. I'm concerned that if I wait until 2 days prior to travel, I will not get date and/or time that I wish to travel and could see a significant price difference. This could be a problem since I have a connection.
I would greatly appreciate any information from anyone who has had to make a change with train travel. Mercii beaucoup!!
Better start making some phone calls and talking to live people. Not familiar with Ouigo other than it is a train.
OUIGO is part of SNCF. They are low cost tickets.
This is from their FAQ section.
The OUIGO tickets are non-refundable and can be exchanged for €10 with the OUIGO customer service until up to 1 hour before boarding.
They also offer seating that is not even slightly adjustable and was designed to torture the typical back -- worst trains ever and no unavoidable for much French travel. We may start taking blahblah buses everywhere.
I found the lack of armrests on the Ouigo trains most annoying.
yes, no armrests and worse, molded plastic seats that sort of hunch you forward and for me at least are extremely uncomfortable.
