I'm looking for recommendations on travel books that cover the Alsace in detail besides the RS France book. There's a Michelin guide specifically for that region that I have on order, but are any of you aware of any France guidebooks that have have a substantial and good section in them on that area?
If you read French The Gallimard Alsace available on Amazon is chock full of pictures, walks, wine route maps . . .almost more than you probably want to know.
I used the green guide along with RS.
Also if you read French I would recommend the Routard guide - particularly good for recommendations of good-value hotels and restaurants.
I doubt that you will need other than the Michelin Green. It is very comprehensive. The only other book I use is the Michelin Red for hotels and restaurants.
