OTC Medications into France ???

I read some OTC Meds legal in the US (naproxen, sudafed, benadryl) require a prescription in France. If they are in the original package, is it OK to bring them into France as an American ?? I havent found anything on this at State Dept website for France. Thanks

You can take them in. Just keep them in their original container. No one is going to be checking your medications. Just be sure that you keep them in your carry-on so that if your bag didn't arrive, you would have what you need.

I also recomment keeping photographic proof just in case.

You can bring those in, in amounts for personal use. Those drugs are legal, you just need a prescription to buy them over there.

Your meds are very common in France and can be found at any pharmacy (with a prescription).
Around 70 million people visit France every year, customs agents have better things to do than waste their time snooping through every traveler's medications and prescriptions.
