We will be in Paris next April on the way to Italy. Our hotel will be in the Latin Quarter, and we plan to use the RER B train to get to the airport for the flight to Italy. Everything else equal, is it better to fly out of Orly or CDG?
I always take ORY if I have a choice. And we always take a cab. It is 30 Euro from the Latin Quarter to ORY; it costs 25 Euro for two on public transport. If there are 3 or more, it is actually cheaper as well as more convenient to take a cab.
ORY if the prices are equal it is easier to navigate to get to and from. We used it to fly into Rome and back from Florence.
The Orlybus from Denfert Rochereau is 9 euros to the airport

What Janet and Jazz said -- Orly, even if the price of the flight is a little bit more -- because it's so much closer to town and SO much smaller and easier to deal with.
If you have a choice, pick ORY. So much easier overall.
Bob,
I agree with the others, ORY would be an easier choice than CDG as it's a smaller airport. It only has two terminals, Sud (south) and Ouest (west) so not as complicated as CDG.
For getting to the airport, you might find this website helpful - https://www.rome2rio.com/map/Paris/Paris-Orly-Airport-ORY . As I'm usually travelling solo, I tend to prefer the RER B / OrlyVal .
Thanks for all the responses. We like smaller airports - (for example, our home airport is Bradley (Hartford). If we fly out of Orly, we will probably take an Easyjet flight to Venice.
Orly is smaller and takes less time to get to from Paris. I prefer Orly if I have a choice, both coming and going.
