Order eurail pass for someone else

I am treating my children and grandchildren (ages 7-10) to some of my favorite places in Europe. We are going to France and Switzerland. It seems to me that the global eurail pass would serve us best. Here are my questions:

  1. Can I order passes for someone else?
  2. Do the grandchildren need their own passes - or do they just go under their parents' passes?
  3. I want to order TGV tickets from Interlaken to Paris on

Instead of a Eurail pass, you could get Swiss Travel Passes for the time in Switzerland, Then you can get the free Family Card and the grandkids will travel free with you. The TGV does not go to Interlaken, but you could purchase tickets from Basel to Paris, and travel to Basel using the STP's.
