Orange Sim vs INSIDR phone

Hey Guys,

I'll be traveling to Paris on the 21-29th December. I was thinking about getting the Orange Holiday sim during the stay. Will that be available at CDG? Also, I came across the INSIDR phone during my research. Has anyone used it? If so would you recommend it over the Orange sim?

Thank you!

Thank you for the reply! I am looking at a specific area that i will have to go to buy the sim since i'm not familiar with the setup of the airport.

There are a large number of Relay shops in all the terminals. If you can’t find one, just ask
Here's a listing of the locations in the CDG terminals with links to terminal maps.

If you are arriving at terminal 2E, there is an Orange kiosk near baggage conveyor 32. The 14 day Holiday card cost 40€ and they installed and activated it for me.

I went to the Orange story near Rue Cler and bought the Holiday sim. I was very happy with the sim and the service provided by the technician as he installed the sim for me and activated it.

However, I tried to find the Orange story in CDG and never could. That airport is what happens when you cross a sadist with MC Escherg and the guy who designed Ikea stores.

The best part about CDG is that when you finally find your way out to the curb, you'll feel like Lewis and Clark reaching the Pacific and that you've earned the two bottles of Cotes du Rhone you'll be sucking down as soon as you get to Paris. Ohwell, beats flying into SFO!

I've also purchased an SFR SIM in the past. It worked fine the first time I used it and was a little cheaper than the Orange Holiday SIM. It might be an option for a trip that is shorter than two weeks. I used an Orange Holiday SIM last trip because my SFR SIM never worked properly on my second trip to France eight months later. I never got it working after multiple trips to their boutique (and they weren't offering to refund the euros I gave them for data and time).

Thank you for the reply! I will be staying for 8 nights so that's why i thought of getting the Orange sim. I thought the installation was pretty straightforward, similar to any other sim. But it doesn't seem so it seems. was there a specific error message when you tired to get it to work?
