OP 1 - OP 5 Gates at De Gaulle Airport in Paris ?

This may be Europe's best kept secret . . . but I cannot find anyone who knows what & where Gates "OP 1 - OP 5" are at Charles De Gaulle airport in Paris. We are flying into CDG on Delta and connecting to Air France (maybe not a problem). But the arrival gate for Delta 98 is consistently listed as "OP 5". This gate is not pictured on any of the airport maps nor can I find any reference to these gates on any other travel forum. Does anyone have any experience with this and, if so, how long from "OP 5" to the Air France departing gates?

I just got back from Paris. Flight 98 landed at gate M43 and my return flight departed yesterday from M41. Shouldn't be a problem connecting with an Air France flight if you have about an hour between flights. If less than that, you might make the flight but checked bags might not.

I found several references to these 'gates'; according to someone on FlyerTalk, apparently 'OP' stands for 'Operations', and it's used when a gate hasn't been assigned yet. Also, in the examples I came across, the 'OP' gates ended up being 2E. YMMV.

When is your flight? If it's too far out, the gate won't yet be assigned.
