Hello, I am looking for advice on traveling from Paris to Chamonix in June 2018. I would like to rent a car for a one-way trip from Paris to Chamonix. I am climbing Mount Blanc so I will be in Chamonix for about 8 days but I would like to spend a few days in Paris first and then rent a car to Chamonix but I am having a hard time finding one-way rental information. It looks like I would pick the car up at CDG airport and I understand there is a rental car place opposite the train station in Chamonix but I am not sure if it services all of France. I am looking for car rental companies and pick up and drop off locations. Once I drop the car off in Chamonix I would need to get to The Castle at 39 Chemin de Toumelet, 74400, Chamonix, FR. All of the major rental agencies have offices at CDG, and it looks like Europcar might be the only one that is also at Chamonix (but I can't be sure). There may a one-way fee for this route, but it shouldn't be too large. I did a quick sample check, and for a particular one-week rental of $320 there was a one-way fee of about $88. You can check with either Auto Europe or Kemwel.

Hi Robert, thanks so much for the information, I really appreciate it. I have seen Europcar and did a couple test rentals but I couldn't make it work. I think though I have to just change my drop off time to match their Saturday hours which I believe I saw they close at noon. I used their address to check the distance from them to where I'm going and it looks like around a mile so it's perfect. I will plug it in again and play around with the drop off times. Thanks again!
