One Night in Paris....What to do??

We will be in Paris for one night. Arriving around 8 pm from Athens on our way home to the US. We don't mind being out late, so we can sleep on the ride home.

Are there any must dos that are opened at night? We will go to the Eiffel Tower for sure.

Weather permitted, enjoy sitting outside at a Cafe. Walk along the Seine from the Eiffel Tower towards Notre Dame. I do this my last evening in Paris. It takes me about an hour, walking above the water level. Cross a few bridges to see buildings lit up on the route (Grand & Petit Palais, The Louvre, and or Pont Alexandre III bridge itself). Enjoy your time.

I agree, at this hour find a nice cafe and get a planche i.e. a charcuterie/cheese board and enjoy the evening and then do a walk along the Seine. If your flight is in the afternoon, stay in Paris -- if it is in the morning, get a CDG hotel (we use the Novotel) and then take the RER into Paris for the evening and back for bed. The RER station is right at Roissypole where the Novotel and several other hotels are located. The CDGVAL to the terminal runs out of the same building there.

Just having a walk along the Seine and around Notre Dame (take a detour by Hotel de Ville) is my Paris highlight. If I had one night this is pretty much all I’d do. Heck, it’s probably how I’ve ended most nights in Paris. That’s a nice layover!

It takes about an hour to get from the airport into Paris so plan on that. I would go to the Eiffel Tower, if you plan on going up not sure how much you will see at night except the lights. If you do go try to enter from the Trocadero as that area is very lively and walking from there to the Eiffel tower is a lot of fun and you can grab a crepe from one of the stands there. Afterwards go have dinner, then do like others suggested, take a walk along the Siene. There are so many people just hanging out around there.

Thank you so much for the suggestions! This is our first time in Paris…very short on time, but this is very helpful!
