We will be travelling in the Normandy and Loire Valley area in October. We will drop our car in St Pierre des Corp and take the train to Paris the afternoon before our flight home. We are thinking of spending the night before our flight home in Paris rather than the airport. Any suggestion on an area to stay that will give us easy access to the airport the next day, planning on arriving at CDG by 11:00 am. for at 2:45 pm flight back to the states?

My husband and I have generally stayed in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 7th arrondissements. I've always wanted to give Montmartre more attention than just a half day. So, our trip in September to Paris will end with two nights in Montmartre. The taxi ride seems to be closer than the other arrondissements we've stayed in for our flight out of CDG. Montmartre is supposed to be delightful in the evening.

If planning on taking a taxi to the airport then any area may work. My usual haunts are 2 - 6 Arrs.
If taking the RER-B to the airport then anywhere near one of the stations that it starts/stops at.
Luxembourg Station across from the Luxembourg Gardens. Many folks here have said they like that area to stay at.
Saint-Michel Notre-Dame Station, not far from Notre Dame. I stayed in this area my first time in Paris because of the RER-B, RER-C & Metro Line 4 all within the same station. Plenty of hotels nearby as well.
Chatelet les Halles staton - I actually stayed just a few blocks from here in Nov/Dec 2021.
Gare du Nord - I'm not familiar with this area.
