Hi, Which is the better one hour river cruise of the Seine which we would do following our Eiffel Tower visit. When I was looking at purchasing tickets for a couple of the cruises, it says you need to bring a charged smart phone as there are no printed tickets. Can you simply buy a ticket before the cruise?
Vedettes de Paris just below the Eiffel Tower: smaller boats, electric motors, live commentary in French and English rather than a recorded system. I saw people buy tickets, but I had bought ours on line beforehand.
I don't know if you are looking to begin your Seine cruise from a spot near the Eiffel Tower. I am only familiar with Vedettes de Pont Neuf, which allows for walk-up tickets purchase, plus buying online ahead of time. Of course, they depart from and return to Pont Neuf area, which is not near the Eiffel Tower. It's been a few years since our last trip but I would be surprised if they made a requirement of only using a smart phone to buy tickets. I prefer them to Bateaux Mouches because of their live narration. Which company is telling you this? There are a few options.
I have booked a boat tour with Canauxrama for my Fall visit to Paris.
They have various trips.
The one I chose goes one way, underground along the canals, through a couple of locks, then out into the Seine along to the E.T., then doubles back to end on Ile St Louis.
Takes 2 hours.
Some friends did it last year and thought it was great.
I have a printed ticket.

Start at the Eiffel Tower and end there after one hour. You can see the route on the link below. We have printed tickets and chose the "Flexible Date" ticket.
Thank you everyone for your help. Situation sorted.
