one day trip to champagne

From Paris, we want to take a train to either reims or epernay to visit wineries for a tour and tasting and possibly lunch in countryside. We'll want to hire a car, ether a taxi or uber or private car to take us for 2 tastings. There will be 4 of us. Suggestions for wineries and transportation. Merci

several years ago 4 of us friends stayed in paris for a week. paris is one of friends favorite cities (she's french basque with family there). i love my champagne so we all consulted to go to reims by train. bought R/T ticket from SNCF store day before. found this tour which had 7 offers of what they do, we picked #5 (3 hours in 2CV citroen, tour around city, cruise through vineyards, stopping to taste grapes, countryside ride, private house to taste, back to reims) offers not on website anymore. email them what they do

solosophie.com "a guide to the best of bouzy champagne" read up about an area she likes to do tasting
if on a private tour, ask about this small village to visit & taste plus sigh tsee. notice closing times in afternoon & charges for tasting.

we did the champagne cruise on the seine. we were in front of boat with our "oh la la" server cruising down the river. was fun
also did the 3 champagne flight. it was an eat drink & be merry week for friends (2 had never been to paris)
