One day cooking classes in Paris or Lyon

Hi all,
Have any of you taken cooking classes in Paris or Lyon-and which one would you recommend?
In 2016 I took a paella class in Valencia and it was the highlight of my trip!!
A market experience is a must....
Merci,
Susan

Do you want a cooking class that combines a market experience? Cook'n With Class has two classes that combine visits to a market with cooking. One class is in the morning and one is in the evening. I don't know about the evening one but the morning one is quite good. By the way, if you are like me and hate the name, don't judge the business by its name. I almost did not book them because of the name and that would have been a mistake. It's not in Lyon but I did an excellent cooking class in Dijon that included a morning tour of Dijon's market. It was terrific and done by a guy named Alex Miles.

I took the Le Croissant and Breakfast Pastries Class at La Cuisine Paris and really enjoyed it! I plan on taking another class the next time I am in Paris. They have a whole list of different classes including some market classes.

La Cuisine Paris also has a market class. It is in the morning. I have done both Cook"n with Class and La Cuisine and they are both excellent, the advantage of the later being its location which is more central across from Notre Dame. Both websites have detailed descriptions of their offerings

I've taken several cooking classes at La Cuisine Paris and I've enjoyed every one of them. They offer quite a few market classes, where you shop for ingredients in local markets and, then, the class returns to the kitchen to prepare the meal. They also offer classes, where you visit various markets to gather meats, cheeses, baguettes, and, of course, pastries and the group returns to the school to enjoy it all with a glass of wine.

I also took the croissant class with La Cuisine Paris. The chef was well organized and knowledgeable - great experience, and I've successfully made them at home afterwards. They have a variety of class topics.
