Can someone recommend an Offline Android app for Paris transport please? I am looking for something for trains (metro,RER, etc.)
On the same lines is there an app that tells the nearest train station to a place of interest?
Ideally I would want both in the same app. Is there one? :)

You don't need one.
It's easy to use the diagrams every ten feet on the way into a metro station. Trains run so often that a couple will pass by the time you get from the sidewalk to the platform.
Any little street map will show stations adjacent to sights.
The best app is a paper map, free at hotels, tourist offices, department stores, or inside guidebooks.
