One of the couples in the CdA meet up did the Eternelle Notre Dame presentation out at La Defense and said it was great! I did the virtual reality presentation at the Crypt Archeologie and had to yank off my goggles when my height-fearing self was suddenly crouched on the rooftop!

Have a wonderful trip...honestly it's so good just to walk the streets and sit in the parks that everything else is just whipped cream on top!

If you are bothered by heights you will really hang onto your seat in the VR experience that goes with the Macchu Picchu exhibit at Trocadero. But absolutely do it -- it is wonderful VR and a great introduction to a place I will now never get to visit in Person.

Eternelle Notre Dame also involves some heights but not as dramatically. One difference is that you are walking around and so if you walk down steep steps it seems genuinely scary ; I knew I was on a flat floor but when I was lifted on a hoist to the rose window or the bell tower or found myself at steep stairs in the organ loft, it felt pretty real.

We did Eternelle Notre Dame last week based on janettravels44’s recommendation. Never experienced anything like that before and we loved it! It was a bit weird when people suddenly appeared next to you but we didn’t run into anyone! It was funny to see people walking through the tour guide. Cool technology and very well done.

There is also a VR shop right around the corner from the Opera metro stop -- I took our 12 year old on a jet pack flight over Paris -- and they now include some brief bonus destinations -- Frozen Lake Baikul in Siberia, Victoria Falls, Mont Blanc and a few others. And we also did a 'behind the scenes' Paris experience that was also fun. But nothing quite as amazing as Eternelle Notre Dame
