October 15th in Paris??

Long time user....first time poster here.

I'm trying to understand if something special is going on in Paris on Saturday, October 15th? Planning to arrive that morning and stay a couple of days.....so I've been looking at hotels and for some reason that day is extremely sold out or very expensive (like 3x the rate of Friday the 14th). I've been to Paris a few times, but never in October. So curious if any of the forum posters have any insights into anything that might be going on in the city that day/night?? TIA.

A quick google search shows a couple big international art events happening around that time.

Thank you...I did a couple of cursory searches prior to posting here. I didn't see anything that looked like it was big enough to cause so many hotels to be sold out (or hike their prices that much). I was guessing it must be something quite large to drive down availability (and drive prices up)....we have a similar effect here in San Diego with Comicon every summer (at least pre-covid). So I wondered if something was going on there that I just wasn't clued in to....

September/early October are the busiest hotel months of the year in Paris. Prices are at their peaks and availability is minimal unless you book months in advance. There are many, many conventions, trade shows, and other activities placing a very strong demand on hotel space.

It’s like this every year.
