I take several supplements under guidance of a NP. When traveling stateside I put all together. Is there going to be any problem flying in and out of Amsterdam and Paris, utilizing some practice? Several of the bottles are very large and I’m just carrying on, these will really take up too much space these are necessities for health not frivolous. Thank youi
Are you referring to pills--things like calcium, magnesium and so on? I can only say that I travel with many bottles of such pills--quantities sufficient for a trip of 4 months or longer--and have run into no problems. I do start out with the pills sorted into individual containers (not necessarily the original ones; I use bottles of the appropriate size irrespective of their original contents). As the trip goes on, I consolidate the remaining pills into fewer and smaller bottles. I've taken a few mid-trip flights and haven't run into anyone who showed even the slightest interest in what was in my tote bag as it went through the scanner.
Obviously, I cannot guarantee that you will have the same experience.
Same - none of our meds and supplements were examined or mentioned entering France. We have a combination of RX meds in original bottles, and OTC meds/supplements not in original containers
Thank you that gives us some peace of mind.
I put each type of medication and vitamins in a separate small zip lock bag. No one even looked at them. That was only France and Italy.
I also have several meds and supplements. I alwsys put them in a small baggie and never had a problem. I do carry a list of prescription meds on paper just in case. Never had a problem.
