Okay, folks! I am here now living in Albi. First thank you to everyone who offered help before I left the states. I am a newly retired single American woman who has joined a gym, made preliminary social contact with one transplant from Madagascar via Paris, one Brazilian naturopath nutritionist, one German and one French woman who are both gym rats like myself and I have a cherished French friend nearby. The food is great, the people are pleasant, elegant and cordial, the town is all aglow with holiday charm. What could be missing, you ask? Well, an opportunity to give of myself I answer. Volunteer something. Help someone. So what do you say, you more experienced ones ?
