I will be in Paris for 2 weeks, and then also planning to visit Provence for a couple of days. I have 3 nights unplanned and I'm wondering if it's a good time of year to visit Nice and the French Riviera? What can I expect from the weather in that part of the country? I would be visiting into the 3rd week of November. This is my 1st trip to France. Merci!

According to AccuWeather, the average for Nice around that time would be 16° -17°, with some chances of rain. Travel-wise, the city should be fair and quiet, but you won't be able to fully enjoy the beaches due to the low temperatures.

It won't be beach weather. My daughter was there a few years ago in early November. The weather was nice but cool, she needed a jacket, though enjoyed the beautiful scenery.
