Notre Dame or the Louvre - which one on Sunday morning or Thursday afternoon?

We want to do the RS audio Historic walk that includes Notre Dame and St. Chapelle.

We could do it on a Thursday afternoon or a Sunday morning and then go to the Louvre the other day.

What are the crowds for each on Thursday afternoon or Sunday morning?

Are some things closed at Notre Dame and St. Chapelle on Sunday?

Also, we have lunch reservations for the Eiffel Tower on Sunday at 1:15.

Thanks!

We did that tour on Sunday, July 5. No sites were closed and I enjoyed walking through Notre Dame during mass, although it also made me feel a little like a vouyer. I would rather have timed it better so we could join the service. It would be challenging (but possible) to get the walk done in time for your Eiffel Tower appointment. We love using the RS audio tours. Have a great trip.

I would start at St Chapelle on Sunday first thing when it opens. It is one place where the crowd builds through the day. Head to Notre Dame, where access to the main altar may be restricted if a mass is in progress, but this is no impediment to a visit. Keep an eye on the time in order to get to Eiffel Tower.
Louvre would be much better on Thursday than Sunday.

Thank you both. It really helps to know someone who knows what to do and is willing to give advice :)
