We recently visited Notre Dame in Paris with a Context Travel Audio Guide entitled "Renovation, Restoration and Rebirth of Notre Dame" (https://www.contexttravel.com/audio_guides/notre-dame-audio-tour?display_currency=USD&page=6). Narrated by an art historian, it provided interesting insights about the restoration as it guided us through the church. Context Travel audio guides cost $20 and my husband and I shared one guide which was downloaded to my iPhone and to which we both connected via AirPods. Highly recommend this tour.
Thank you! This sounds interesting. Does it have a map or plan of the church to go alongside?
No but the audio provides directions and on-screen pictures that orient you to location. The only issue we had was that the original burned rooster, an important symbol of Notre Dame, that sat atop the steeple had moved to a different side chapel from when the audio tour was made. But we showed the picture to a Notre Dame guide who pointed us to the correct chapel..
Thank you for the additional information!
