Working on a 9 day NYC to Paris/Normandy itinerary departing JFK Friday Nov 15, returning Saturday Nov 23 from Paris CDG. I know late November is not a very popular time to visit Normandy due to the weather. It looks like all of group tours to D Day sites and Mont St. Michel stop running in October but I am wondering if I might be able to find a private tour guide who might be flexible enough to take a group of 2 adults to Mont St. Michel one day and the D Day sites the next. Ideally this guide would be willing to pick us up in Saint-Malo, tour MSM and drop us in Bayeux on the first day, pick us up on the second day, tour D Day sites and drop us off at the end of the day at a train station along the way to Rouen. I realize this might be asking a lot of our tour guide but I’m hoping there might be some flexible options in the off season for a reasonable up charge on the daily rate. Appreciate itinerary advice and tour guide recommendations.

I heartily recommend Roel Klinkhamer with Victory Tours in Bayeux. Also Sean Claxton of Overlord Tours is a good one.
You might also get on the Bayeux or Caen forums on tripadvisor.com and ask your questions. Most tour operators start out in those two places, Bayeux being the most popular and much closer to the D Day beaches.
