Normandy to London suggestions?

Hi!

Looking for suggestions-staying 2-3 nights in Bayeux/Caen/Honfluer area after Paris and want to head to London for the remainder of our trip. Renting a car for Normandy probably from Caen or Bayeux. Starting in London is not an option. Any suggestions as it looks like trains go through Paris only. Wish me luck with my 2 teenage daughters!! LOL. Thanks for any advice!!

You've got the train pattern right.

Another (maybe cheaper, but maybe twice as long) is the Caen/Ouistreham to Portsmouth ferry then the train to London Waterloo).

After that, it's pretty much downhill.
