Normandy Sightseeing Tour feedback

Hello, I am looking for some feedback from a couple sightseeing tours in Normandy. We will be there Feb 1st and many groups only offer private tours, but I saw two that operate year round.
The first is D-Day Battletours and the other is NST (Normandy Sightseeing Tours). If anyone has experienced either of these tour groups I would appreciate your input.
Thank you

Many of us on the forum recommend Overlord Tours for full and half day tours. We took one in April. Not familiar with the other companies you mention.

We used HQCompany tours and very happy with them. We had a private tour but I know they do group tours I seem to remember up to eight people. Also as said above the other group Overlord tours gets high remarks here and they do group tours as well.

I would use Overlord again in a heartbeat. Excellent tour last month. Several options for different tours - full, half day. Small, comfortable van, 8 people max. Depart Bayeux.

Use the search function on this site and you'll find many, many prior posts of review and recommendations for Normandy tours. (Hint: Filter by "travel forum" and "2 years and newer" to get recent information."
I have never heard of the two you mention.

I have visited Normandy ten or so times, but have never used a tour guide. That being said, everyone who does always seems to recommend the guide that they used, and give them a good review. I don't recall ever seeing a bad review of any tour operators in Normandy on this forum, so that bodes well for being happy with whomever you choose.

I should probably state that I have researched many of the tour groups. Unfortunately, many don’t provide group tours this time of the year, and a private tour with them is over $500 for 2 people. The two I mentioned in my post do operate year round, tho D-Day tours will make it a private if no one else signs up.

It's true that it is extremely rare to read a negative review of a D-Day tour on this forum. It seems as if there are many companies that will nearly always give you a good tour.

Personally, I used Overlord and was very satisfied. However, I could not recommend a half-day Overlord tour--or any other company's half-day tour. The tours nearly all depart from Bayeux, a very nice town to stay in. But the D-Day sites are not in Bayeux; the tour has to drive you to the first, and then to the second, and so on. On a half-day tour, a lot of your limited time is spent driving from place to place (albeit probably with some commentary from the driver/guide). I'd urge folks really interested in D-Day sites to allow time for at least a full-day tour.
