Normandy - guides and restaurant recommendations with kids

Hello-

We will go to Normandy with two children (7 and 5) in mid-March. Most of our tour operator choices have already been booked while we were sorting things out. Any recommendations for someone newer on the scene that maybe hasn't already been booked?

Also - any family or kid-friendly restaurant recommendations? Staying in Port en Bessin, but will have access to a car.

The Road Scholar tour we were on last year used Jonathan Crowe: (www.allaboutnormandy.com). He was excellent; very articulate, and personalized the tour by anecdotal stories of heroic individuals.
