Hi,
My family and I are planning a trip to Paris, France in June 2019. We would love to take a side trip to Normandy. Has anyone experienced using VictoryTours?
If you search this site you'll find many reviews (favorable) of Overlord Tours.
I just made a Search and found some posts re Victory Tours. You search by going to the 1st page of the posts and using the Search ribbon at the top of the page, I searched on Victory Tours and found some items on them. The Search function will take you back about ten years.
We took a day trip from Paris with Bayeux Shuttle. They provide info on trains to take from Paris and meet you at the train station. We thought it was a good trip and the train ride back affords you decent nap time!
Our group of 5 used Alan Bryson of www.firstnormandybattlefieldtours.com
He was great. He's recommended in Rick Steves' latest France book, and Alan provides the van and driving from Bayeux.
Keep in mind that June 2019 is the 75th anniversary of D-day. Most places and the better tours are already booked, and if you are trying to go there early in the month (i.e., near the 6th), tours, rooms and everything else has been booked for a year plus.
