Normandy & Brittany itinerary -- critique?

I've posted a few times about planning a trip thru Normandy & Brittany. @djp_syd was nice enough to give a sample itinerary in response to a post in the "General Europe" forum!

I've read thru the RS and Rough guides, as well as skimmed some of the Michelin pair of books for the region. So here's what I'm thinking, thought I'd see if there are any obvious holes or problems. Up until leaving Rennes I will be traveling by train.

2-3 days in Paris to get over jetlag and see Paris. Then...

day 1: Paris -> Auray, visit Auray & Vannes. Sleep Auray

day 2: train to Quimper, more time in Auray. Sleep Auray

day 3: Auray -> Rennes, train daytrip to Vitre (30 min away). Sleep Rennes

day 4: Rennes. Maybe do Vitre today instead of yesterday. Sleep Rennes

day 5: Get car, drive to Dinan. Explore Dinan, walk to Léhon for lunch. In afternoon
drive to Fort la Latte & Cap Fréhel, maybe more coast. sleep Dinan.

day 6: St. Malo in morning, Pointe du Grouin, Cancale for lunch. Drive in RS book page 357. Arrive Mt.St-Michel around 4pm. sleep La Caserne

day 7: Mt.St-Michel in morning, leave by 11am for Bayeux. Caen museum, Bayeax tapestry. sleep Bayeax

day 8: D-day tour. sleep Bayeux

day 9: Beuvron-en-Auge and Normany countryside, Trouville. Sleep Rouen

day 10: Honfleur -> Étretat -> Veules-les-Roses -> Rouen. Drop off car. Sleep Rouen

day 11: train to CDG, fly home

Wow, i am exhausted reading the schedule. Perhaps u could consider slowwing down and seeing something in a more relaxed way. Brittany to me can be glanced thru but Normandy needs a slower pace. Mont st michel is mesmerizing as is normandy.
