Hello all, we will be in Bayeux late May and have set aside a day to wander around the D day beaches. Have come across a news article that says Normandie tourism has launched a new app and hop on hop off style bus to service the area. Article is nearly 12 months old. Can someone please tell me whether it is still operating? Does it operate on specific dates?
I cannot find the app nor other information.

The shuttle you refer to was for the summer of 2024 and 80th anniversary commemorations. By and large an auto is needed to wander the nearly 60 miles of the beachhead.
