My wife and I are considering staying in Bailly-Romainvilliers , France at the Marriott for a week in mid December.
We love Paris and will be taking the RER frequently to the City, unless there are things to explore locally.
What is there to do in or around Bailly-Romainvilliers, France other than theme parks?
I'd love to see local areas around with visiting any theme parks.
We have stayed there 3 or 4 times in January but it has been a few years. It looks as though the area has grown a bit. The Val d'Europe Mall is good sized - one stop before Disney on the RER - the station is at the shopping complex. There is the Auchan supermarket - huge with everything you could imagine. If you have a car the villages around are a nice way to spend an afternoon just wandering. What will be open might be hit & miss. We did find a few little restaurants that we enjoyed.
Definitely bring a small photo & get the navigo pass for zone 5.
The Marriott is lovely - do the sales presentation - you will be amazed - it is NOTHING like one here.
