No More Navigo Decouverte at CDG?

Has this been confirmed?

We were planning on landing, purchasing and metro-ing to the 7th arrondissmont.
But if the aiport is no longer selling ND, sounds like we'll have to buy single tickets for the RER and pick up our cards at Gare du Nord I guess.

Thanks for your insight on this.

Uh… can you please post the source of this information? Because I for one have been researching this extensively for th elastic few weeks in preparation for our trip next week, and have not found one shred of information that this purchase is no longer possible. I have confirmed that with a phone lacking a French or EU number that it cannot be purchased and loaded on your onto your phone in advance, nor onto your phone on arrival. But have seen nothing stating you can no longer get this at the train station in CDG, and planning to do so early next week.

The only reliable source has been Tocard, who cited a source. But please reply back when you get there and let us know your experience

Larry, I read that from two different commenters here in the forums. I just read it over the weekend.

https://www.transilien.com/fr/page-tarifs/navigo-decouverte#content-section-205-part-3-tab is the source of this information. Scroll down to "Where can I buy my Navigo Découverte pass?" if you have auto translate to English and "Où acheter mon passe Navigo Découverte?" if you do not. Here is the English translation of what you will find there:
To get your Navigo Découverte pass, you're spoiled for choice!
Visit one of the SNCF, OPTILE, or RATP sales offices, one of the club counters, or one of the Navigo SNCF Service Counters.
You'll get your pass immediately on site and can load it with the pass of your choice.
The Découverte pass is not sold with a Navigo Semaine pass at the ticket offices at CDG1 and CDG2 stations.

I have an acquaintance who says that in August he and his wife could not buy the pass at CDG and were told that it is not sold there so they took a taxi and bought their passes in Paris. But since then someone else told me that she added a weekly pass using the machines when she landed at CDG earlier this month but she already had a Navigo card from prior trips. So, maybe they are not selling new cards at CDG but you can reload an existing, unexpired card.

So, does this mean the Navigo Découverte card is not sold at CDG at all or the card is not sold at CDG loaded with a weekly pass? Can you buy the Navigo Découverte card and then go to a machine and load it with a weekly pass?

You can't get the card at the airport. You can load a card purchased on a previous trip.

Lynn is correct, the official statement is clear as mud. However, it is the ND card that is no longer sold at the airports. It's a mystery why the statement doesn't just clearly state that. The IDF Mobilités marketing mixes the words: cards and fares, which might make sense if the ND card had only one use, the weekly pass, but you can also load a monthly fare (and probably the day pass as well).

These are basically the same people that came up with the ticket jeune weekend (no longer sold), which was a day pass, not a single ride ticket, and was only valid one day, not the weekend.

If you have an ND card already, reports are that you may recharge it at either of airport kiosk locations.
