We just returned from 2 weeks in Paris, and when we dined at Brasserie Aux PTT on Rue Cler and requested the Rick Steves "deux pour douze" breakfast deal, we were told the restaurant has new owners and the offer is no longer available. It was still a tasty breakfast, but cost us €18 for breakfast for two, rather than €12. Comments were closed on Rick's recent video blog post about this offer, but hopefully he'll get word about it from this forum.

Any recommendations on hotels or B&Bs on or near Rue Cler? We’ve loved Rick Steves’ suggested places to stay when traveling to other places. Thanks.

Agreed, we enjoyed our breakfast! We stayed at Hotel Muguet and thought it was great -- super friendly and helpful staff, and good rates (we booked well in advance).
