Hi All! We happen to be in Paris for the Night of Museums this year. While I know it's been a longstanding "Rick Trick" to avoid a museum's free day due to crowds, I'm interested in this more as an experience rather than an opportunity to see any particular museum from top to bottom. Has anyone been before? Any museums better suited for nighttime or are there any that do anything fun/festive for the night? Thanks!
Have you seen this?

As you will see, many museums have fun/festive things going on. You might want to check locations regarding late night transportation. With great pleasure, I've done the offerings previously in the 19th at the Parc de La Villette. Music oriented, close to me, big area with little crowding, making for a lovely canal afternoon into evening if (and this is a big if) the weather is good.
Edited to add two museums in the 12th of architectural interest:
Musée de l'Histoire de l'Immigration is a spectacular example of French Art Deco
Cinémathèque française designed by Frank Gehry
