Hello Everyone!
My husband and I are just talking about our next trip to Europe, Florence and Rome are concret destinations but we are trying to decide the remainder or our trip. One idea is to drive from Florence to Nice. In all our travels we have yet to rent a car in another country, so we have a few hesitations but the train is far to difficult. Anyone ever done this drive and have advice to offer or have other ideas for an additional 3 days of our journey?

The problem is always international drop fees. You might think about a compromise. Drive to Ventimiglia, turn in the car and take the train the last hour to Nice.
