Nice to Eze to Monaco in a day

We stayed in Nice 8 years ago and visited Eze la Village by bus. Now, we are traveling with friends for their first visit through France and have read several blogs about visiting Eze and Monaco from Nice. But none visit both in the same day. I actually think this is easily doable.

Has anyone taken the bus into Eze, the bus into Monaco, and the train back from Monaco into Nice ?

Did it work ? And did you visit one location before the other and why ?

We were in Nice earlier this month, we were planning to do what you are suggesting. I ended up booking a tour through Viator (a TripAdvisor company). We had a great tour guide and we rode the middle corniche highway to Eze and we had a tour in a perfumery and visited Eze and then went on to Monaco. The tour company had permits to drive right into Monaco and took us on the Formula-1 race track (this is great if you are a Grand Prix fan)! We took the upper corniche on the way back with great vistas. The tour size was 6 people. We took the half day which picked us up at 9:00 and got back about 2:00 and they picked us up at our hotel. I would highly recommend it.

Yes, you can do it (but I have not). Bus 112 (except Sunday) to Eze Village and then on to Monaco. Or 82 to Eze Village and 112 onward. You can also walk or bus down to the Eze Gare (or pick up 100 below).

I do it the opposite way, usually staying in Monaco. Monaco to Eze le Village, hoik up the hill, enjoy the Jardin Exotique, and then into Nice. The train between Nice and Monaco is ssuper easy and scenic. There is a bit of a gap in early afternoon - check the schedule.

Thank you for your support !

I will check on the train schedule. It may depend on their timing.

And I like the idea of hiking down from Eze and catching a bus too.
