Will be in Monaco on Monday May 8, 2023.
Planning on taking the train into Nice and possibly Villefranche-sur-Mer but understand that is a National Holiday in France, Victory Day.
Will stores, and local transportation be available that day or should we just stay in Monaco.
Any information I would be appreciated.

May 8 is not a widely observed holiday. Many stores will be open, and transportation will run on a regular Sunday schedule.
