Nice in late November

Hi! I know what the averages for temperatures and the days of rain, etc. I need a subjective opinion of someone who has been to Nice in late November. Would you advise going? Appreciate the feedback.

Reasonable question since averages hide extremes, and averages are usually given only for the hottest time of day and the coldest.

I'd suggest checking out several years' worth of actual, historical, day-by-day weather statistics for Nice in November on the website timeanddate.com:

Nice weather November 2022

Use the pull-down box to change the month and year displayed.

The Wikipedia entry for Nice (as for most cities) includes a climate-summary chart. Contents vary, but for Nice you can see monthly figures for rainfall, number of rainy days and hours of sunshine. November's the wettest month of the year, but the sunshine isn't too bad--more hours than you'd have (on average) in Rome that month, and about the same as in Washington DC.

It can be highly variable -- sometimes a storm will come through and it will be very rainy. But I think in 2021 I had lunch on the beach in late November. So it can really run the gamut, just keep yourself flexible and adaptable, and there are things to do indoors when it rains.

In late November in Nice, when it rains, it pours. I went twice at that time of the year (in the mid 2010s) and had pouring rain both times. Once for 48 hours straight! Still, there are plenty of great museums in Nice, so you would not get bored.

I spent 6 nights in Nice last year in mid-December. The weather was pleasant. Once or twice there was some light rain, most days were sunny and temps were never very low. The Christmas markets were in full swing so there were lots of people outdoors for hours and many restaurants had outdoor seating - with heaters.
