My family and I are planning a 4 day trip during the 1st week of April to either the Amalfi Coast or the French Riviera.
We are stuck choosing between the 2. We went to Positano only last summer and really enjoyed it, it was one of the most beautiful destinations i have ever seen. But Nice, France is probably the next destination I would like to see which I haven't been too yet. I feel very drawn to Italy especially the South due to my family roots. Our main decision comes down to sunlight and rain. We wanted to choose which would would be warmer with less rain.
The plan for Amalfi Coast would be: Fly into Napoli, spend 4 days in Positano, with a day trip in between to the town of Amalfi which we didn't get to see last summer. Then fly out of Napoli, all direct flights.
The plan for the French Riviera: Fly into Nice, spend 4 days in Nice and 2 day trips in between to Monaco and Cannes.
Im having a hard time choosing as my heart is set on Positano but we feel the logical choice is Nice, France. Open to suggestions please, thank you.
