I did not realize when I booked my airfare with miles that I would be arriving in Nice on Easter Sunday (I guess that may be one reason why the seats were available!). I understand that Sunday, as well as the following Monday (Easter Monday) are both holidays. Does any one have experience in Nice on those two days? Do most of the restaurants shut down? Do taxis and buses run from the airport?

General buses run on the holiday schedule and taxis charge (even more) special rates. Also consider Uber, which is active in the region.
There will be closings (more than normal ) on Sunday and Monday but touristic oriented businesses (except possibly Museums) will be open. On Sunday and Monday, some regular restaurants are shut down as it is their normal schedule. However, Easter Sunday is an event day for family dining; reservations may be required, but you'll find plenty of choices.
