Can anyone recommend a hotel at the airport in Nice? We will be turning in our car the night before we fly home and need a hotel with airport shuttle service or a very short cab ride for the next morning.

There is a Novotel and an Ibis budget ( Etap ) right across the Promenade des Anglais from the airport ( they are actually in the same building , very big hotel ! ) Accomodations are very nice ( Accor quality ) , and they provide shuttle service to the airport , but be aware that the only choice for food is the hotel restaurant . There doesn't seem to be much on the surrounding streets ( we looked ) .

Just did the same thing last month. We stayed at the Park Inn and it was excellent. Clean, convenient and reasonable with helpful staff, a free shuttle to the airport in the morning and a good outdoor restaurant on premise for dinner the last night. I left my GF and luggage at the hotel after checking in, dropped the car off at the airport(literally less than a 2 min ride) and took the local public bus right back to the hotel. Worked out great.
