Nice Airport to Hotel de la Darse in Villefranche sur mer

This is the recommendation from p. 368 of Rick's Provence & Riviera book:

To get to Villefranche-sur-Mer from the airport, take bus #98 to Place Garibaldi, then use the same ticket to transfer to bus #81 or #100 (4-5/hour Mon-Sat on #100, 3-4/hour Sun; 2-4/hour on #81; 20 minutes; see map on page 330 for stop location).

the current price for the "Aero" ticket which includes local travel and the 98 or 99 buses (up to 74 minutes all together) is €6.

That's personal experience in the last few weeks.

We took the bus from the airport to Villefranche su Mer. There is one change, but other than that it is a very easy and pleasant ride. When you arrive in Villefranche sur Mer, head down the steep hill to the old harbor. Rick gives good walking directions to the hotel in his Provence and the French Riviera guidebook.
