New Paris Region Pass

Is this different from the old Paris Pass, which was a total rip off ? ( not to be confused with the Paris Museum Pass).

This is nothing other than a repackage of the old Paris Pass. The difference is that instead of combining the various physical elements, everything is now included on one card.

What hasn't changed is that you pay more than you would if you were to purchase individually, only the portions you really need. For most people, transportation tickets t+ (at 14.90€ for 10) and either a Paris Museum Pass or pre-purchased museum tickets are all you really need. Boat rides on the Seine can be purchase at reduced prices from the website of Vedettes du Pont Neuf for only 10€.

The Paris Region Pass people are going to be selling a lot of these to visitors who do not do their homework.

Thanks so much! It's horribly expensive, but seemed to cover a lot of ground. Now I know that I will NOT be getting one.
