We’ve been listening for the last hour., actually 45 minutes. Pretty soon we'll be eating dinner at 5 in restaurants. His emphasis is everyone acting for the good of the whole.

Actually there’s an add on TV in France right now showing a family celebrating a youngish grandma’s birthday, including a kiss from granddaughter. Next scene, the beautiful granny is in ICU. Message received. The All Saints vacation is coming up when a lot of inter generational families get together.

A little more information from the ministers’ briefing today.

Exceptions will be allowed (if the person is carrying a famous attestation) in these cases:

  • For medical reasons — for example, to go to the emergency room or pick up urgently needed medicine at the all-night pharmacy
  • For professional reasons if required by work
  • If you have e.g. a train or plane that arrives/departs, you can still travel between station/airport and your residence/lodging
  • To care for a loved one who is dependent on you
  • To walk your dog

So we are back to our beloved permission slips if one needs to be out (in the designated cities) during curfew hours !
