Can anyone suggest to me the best and quickest way to get from the airport to the train station in Nice? I am totally unfamiliar with the city of Nice, and I don't mind spending a little extra for transportation - in order to make my connection.
I'll only have about an hour/ hour and a half from plane arrival to train departure time.

There is frequent inexpensive bus service just outside the terminal exit. A taxi would probably be a better guarantee of allowing plenty of time. It's a few miles.
Bus #99 runs every half hour and takes a half an hour for €6. Rick's book estimates €35 for the taxi fare and suggeststhat you confirm that with the driver before heading out.

It isn't all that far, in fact there is a station outside the airport, but for Nice Ville in such a super tight time frame I would take a taxi.
Where is your flight coming from, and where does the train go?
Do you have a back up plan if your plane is late or it takes too long getting out of the airport?
Do you have checked luggage?
