Need recommendations for the best private, no line tour of Palace of Versaille!

I am visiting Paris in May and would like to know what is the best private, no line (possible after hours) tour to The Palace of Versailles. Any help is appreciated! I am so confused looking online... I want to see as much of it as possible. Also, I want to see the gardens and Petite Trianon. I am a Marie Antoinette fan!

Thanks, Pat for the heads up on the possible tour guide. I thought being on this forum would be the best way to find out the legit and fun tours of Versailles. All I wanted was a visitor to give their opinion and not someone promoting their tours. I would appreciate any suggestions from visitors, please...

Hi! We booked the Private Apartment of the Kings tour through the palace itself. I'm not sure if it's really what you're looking for since its for small groups (I think the cap is 30 or less). We toured rooms that weren't open to the public and it was a wonderful experience. We hung out at the back of the group so we could spend a minute in the room that was just vacated...all to ourselves! Highly recommend it! We also enjoyed the Petite Trianon and Hamlet very much. I'm sure you will love it!

Hi Julie! Thank you for the information! I didn't realize you could book private Tours through the palace itself. Were you able to also view Marie Antoinette's quarters in the palace on that tour and see the hallway of mirrors? I am definitely going to see the Petit Trianon and the hamlet. I have been waiting all my life to see the Palace of Versailles. That's why I definitely want the best tour. Thank you again!

Hi Kiki, here's the official website for Versailles - http://en.chateauversailles.fr/prepare-my-visit-/single/tickets-and-rates. It gives you all the info regarding tours and what's available. You can purchase tickets online. Or, if you have a Paris Museum Pass (recommended), it covers entrance to the palace, gardens, Petite Trianon & Marie Antoinette's hamlet.

Plan to arrive early and be in line 30 minutes before opening. We did that in May this year and it worked out great.

Hi Donna! Thanks for the help and tips! I will look on the website now. By the way...I was born in Cleveland. My Mother and Father were both from there. I haven't been there in years, though. Thank you again!
