My husband and I will be in Strasbourg for three nights in June. Any suggestions for a hotel and if so how about a good place for breakfast? ( Actually I am open for suggestions for breakfast, lunch and dinner)

What is the budget? I have stayed at Sofitel Strasbourg Grande Ile, Place Saint Pierre Le Jeune 67000 Strasbourg and loved it. If you stay there, have a look at Eglise Saint PIerre Le Jeune which is right next door. It's a lovely church.

I've stayed twice at the Hotel Beaucour and been very happy there, even took my parents.
i just googled the European Parliament, and you're lucky, they're not in session in Strasbourg in June. That will be a huge help as you look for a hotel.
Make sure to have lunch or dinner in a traditional Winstub, and do the boat trip on the Ill. I love Strasbourg any time of year -- it's fun at Christmas market time, but heavenly in spring/summer when the sun is shining and the geraniums are blooming!

In 2012 we stayed at Hotel le Colmar, 1 rue du Maire Kuss Tél: +33 (0) 388 321 689.
Room with shower & toilet: €54 & breakfast €7.
No elevator, but room which we had on the 3rd floor had a great view of the street and canal (river).
Not fancy, but clean.
Boulangerie/patisserie right across the street!
Easy walk from the train station.
We're going back there again this year.
