Need help with tickets to Eiffel Tower at Night

The site should update periodically as the window advances, so maybe in another week or so the July dates will be available. Check frequently! Failing that, you could line up and wait a few hours to get to the top. Or buy the package deal that has the tickets, leaving the kids with a baby sitter (hotels can usually arrange a sitter). Or as a last resort you could go up to people about to go up and make a cash offer for their tickets!

Have they opened those dates yet for booking? Several places I read said you could book on the official website online 60 days in advance. But when I tried 60 days ahead for end of May tickets, the May calendar would not even show. Finally at about 30 days in advance the May calendar was on the official Eiffel website and I was able to reserve online. As the window opening got closer, I checked the website daily to be able to reserve before they sold out.

The system is in chaos right now and all the normal rules don't apply. You have to keep checking at 8:30 Paris time so as not to miss out when they finally put tickets up. Note that in the past they have rarely sold tickets for the sunset period (or at least not to individuals; I suspect tour companies have a sweetheart deal for those tickets). Tickets would be offered morning and afternoon and then late night but not in early evening when most people want them.

Sunset does not happen in early evening. This time of year isn't sunset around 9:30? I was able to book online for a 8 pm time in late May. I plan to budget around 2 hours for Eiffel visit.
