Need help planning a short trip in the French Riviera

Hi everyone. I have a very short time in the french riviera and need some help planning. We have some flexibility but not too much. Here are my options. Suggestions would be fab!

Day 1 - Fly into Marseille (arrives around 6pm, unfortunately we cant make the earlier flight from barcelona) - drive to Aix en Provence for the night (I dont really want to see marseille but I love Aix)
Day 2 - Next Day get up early see a bit of Aix and do the drive from Aix to Antibes. My question is this, is this drive worth it? We love road trips but I am not sure where to stop and how long to take. It limits how much time we will have. We would presumably stop in St-Tropez and Cannes, again not sure if it's worth it. People say the drive is beautiful but slow so I am struggiling with this one.
Assuming we get to Antibes by noonish, spend the day here, this is where our hotel is
Day 3 - Monaco, Nice and Eze
Day 4 - Drive to Nice for the day, fly out of Nice that evening

My alternate option is to Skip the Marseille/Aix/road trip all together! Fly in and out of Nice, still keep Antibes as our home base and visit sites from there. The only thing i would be dissapointed in missing is Aix as I went there when I was very young (18, Im 40 now) and I loved it.

Your help is greatly appreciated!!

Hi Kat, if your goal is to see Aix, I'd do that part of the trip and skip Monaco. It's beautiful, but out of the way for the few days you have in this area.
