We are traveling to Paris through Charles de Gaul airport and have two toddlers and plane gets in at 7:00 am and Airbnb opens at 4:00. We need to know if nanny bag stores and will deliver to our Airbnb that afternoon? Also we are staying in 11 th arrondissement at Avenue de Philippe Auguste and were wondering how to keep little one occupied Is there a park in that area? Toddlers will be experiencing jet lag! Airbnb doesn’t allow storage of luggage.
I would reserve the Airbnb for the night before, and let them know you will actually be arriving that morning. Best money you will ever spend.
There are luggage storage apps that are basically Airbnb just for your luggage. I've used Bounce with positive experience.
Unfortunately the Airbnb is booked so we can’t get in any earlier and they can’t store our luggage either So looking for something that will store luggage and deliver it later on that day
The 11th is the largest arrondissement in the city. What's the nearest cross street from your airbnb?
Rent a hotel room for the night before that you can go to upon arrival. You don't want to be hanging around town with nowhere to take two toddlers.
It is Avenue de Philippe Augusta
That is a long street; what is your cross street? there are small gardens and parks all over Paris and one near Phillip Auguste is Jardin Damia which has a playground for toddlers. You are still talking about at least 6 hours at loose ends which is a lot with little kids.
I appreciate your help I’m going to try to get a hotel near Charles de Gayle airport with shuttle and early check in in You all are so right and I appreciate your help!!
I cannot say enough good things about renting an apartment or hotel room the night before when one is arriving very early. It's a smallish price to pay for getting off on the right foot with jet lag and all, being able to shower, etc. Also, flying from the East Coast, many flights get in earlier than expected!
If you can, get a hotel near where your other rental is. Don't get one at the airport as there won't be any parks, etc. nearby. Get in to Paris first. Reserve a room in the city, not at the airport.
A room reserved for the prior night solves the problem only until check out time, 11 or 12 noon. It would be wise to negotiate and pay for day-use when you need it.
