I could use some help advice finding eateries open on Christmas Day or evening. I am a solo female traveler and was hoping I could find a list somewhere of Brasseries or bistros that may be open. I will be staying in the 7th arr. I am trying not to fret too much but I keep reading ‘make your reservations early’. My expectations are not extravagant. Is it true that there will be brasseries and bistros open?

We went through this last year in 2017. We spent Christmas Eve night in Paris and flew out on Christmas Day. As most most people told me, yes, make your reservations early. But be aware that restaurants that are open will more than likely have a "special" menu which translates into $$$$$. So we ended up here for an excellent Christmas Eve dinner and just ordered from their normal menu:
I'm sure there are other places open and maybe even with normal menus - if you can find them.
